Florelie Dandelion is a stunning variety known for its unique, fringed petals and soft, creamy-yellow coloring that resembles the delicate texture of a dandelion puff. This variety belongs to the Decorative Dahlia type, often admired for its full, rounded blooms. Typically, ‘Florelie Dandelion’ grows to a height of about 3 to 4 feet (90 to 120 cm), making it a striking addition to flower beds or borders. One of its standout qualities is its suitability as a cut flower—its long, sturdy stems and showy blooms hold up well in floral arrangements, making it a favorite among florists and gardeners alike. Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade position, and are also ideal for pots and containers. Flowers usually take 120 days to bloom once planted, and with deadheading will flower for months from summer into autumn.
