The Orange Pompon Dahlia is a striking variety known for its perfectly round, ball-shaped blooms composed of tightly packed, curved petals. Its vibrant orange color adds a cheerful burst to gardens and floral arrangements. Typically, this dahlia grows to a height of 3 to 4 feet, making it a manageable and eye-catching addition to borders or flower beds. The plant produces numerous blooms over the growing season, especially when regularly deadheaded. Due to their sturdy stems and long vase life, Orange Pompon Dahlias are considered excellent cut flowers, maintaining their shape and vivid color well in arrangements.
Dahlias prefer a full sun to part shade position, and are also ideal for pots and containers. Flowers usually take 120 days to bloom once planted, and with deadheading will flower for months from summer into autumn.
